This is Lost City and here, you're on your own. No one is going to look out for you or hold your hand, so you best get a grip and learn to take care of yourself. This means making money, getting stronger, and staying healthy. In return, you can keep ahead of your comrades and take care of yourself when attacked by people just like you, out to get ahead.
In return, you can keep ahead of your comrades and take care of yourself when attacked by people just like you, out to get ahead. If you want, and it's highly suggested, you can rebuild what's left of the work force by getting a job or going to the local university. There are numerous options available for you to try, so don't be afraid to get your feet wet.
Training
Training a single time costs 10 Energy and increases your individual statistics. You have the option of training anywhere from 1-10 times, 15 for donators; depending on how much Energy you have in your E bar. The amount of increase per statistic depends on how much will you have and the size of your will bar, due to housing. You have three options for training at the gym: Strength, Agility, and Guard.
Attacking
Attacking is an important part of Lost City. New players are encouraged to focus on training their statistics in order to become competitive before attacking. Each attack costs 50 Energy. To initiate a fight, go to a user's profile page and click attack. You will then be prompted to choose a weapon: Gun, Melee, or Pet. Remember, you need to have an item equipped to use it during a fight. After choosing a weapon you will attack and the defending player will counter attack. Any damage inflicted will be listed. If no one is declared a winner after 100 rounds, the fight is considered a draw.
A defender will automatically attack using whichever class of weapon they were attacked with. A defender attacked with a class of weapon they do not have, or do not have equipped, will automatically attack using their fists. Keep in mind; if you attack using a pet, the defender will attack the pet potentially killing it.
Gangs
Any player with enough money may create a gang. The amount of money required to create a gang is dependent on how many gangs are currently created. To apply to a gang, choose a gang through the Gang Central link, located under the Explore section, and hit apply. Choose carefully. By joining a gang you will have access to their armories, donated from gang members, as well as the opportunity to join in Organized Crimes. Organized Crimes are a great way to earn extra money. Gangs can also afford protection to their members. A gang's success is measured by their respect level, gained either by completing successful Organized Crimes or stolen from other gangs during a gang war.
