FarmVille is a game where you can farm with your friends. The idea of the game is to manage your very own farm and make it as best as possible. You need to gain experience points and collect coins in order to move forward.
Unfortunately, Zynga has yet to bring any of the old Crafting Buildings from the original FarmVille to the English Countryside. Bah! Who needs them when we have our very own Pub to brew delicious beers and wines in and get wasted in? Like all of the new features in this expansion, they're accompanied by a series of Goals. In this case, there are five Goals leading to the creation (and liberal use) of the Pub.
One of the most touted features of English Countryside, the first ever expansion to FarmVille, is its focus on characters and storyline. Sure, it's a feature that's seen liberal use in both FrontierVille and CityVille, but does that fact make it any less exciting? Not really. To finally have one of the biggest improvements in Zynga's game design come full circle is certainly something to be psyched about, especially with the implications for the future. But since the expansion is only one day old, let's focus on the now and take a detailed look at the game's current cast of characters.
In order to play the much-anticipated FarmVille English Countryside expansion (said to arrive sometime this week), you'll need to be at level 20 before you'll be able to gain access. While this won't be a problem for long-time players, newbies or a more sporadic farmer might need to do some quick leveling up in order to gain access to England as soon as its available.
